APPLESEED PROJECT

The Appleseed Program is designed to take you from being a simple rifle owner to being a true rifleman. All throughout American history, the rifleman has been defined as a marksman capable of hitting a man-sized target from 500 yards away — no ifs, ands or buts about it. This 500-yard range is traditionally known as "the rifleman's quarter-mile;" a rifleman can hit just about any target he can see. This skill was particulary evident in the birth of our country, and was the difference in winning the Revolutionary War.

BLOCK SHOOTS

Block Shoots are held the 1st Sunday of each month. No block shoots in December, January and February.
The annual PIG BLOCK SHOOT will be on Sunday, November 7th starting at 9:00 AM. Come out and take a chance on winning the PIG!

COWBOY ACTION SHOOTS

If you never attended the Elstonville "Hombres" Cowboy Action Shoot, it is something to behold. If you didn't know better, you would think you went back in time to the Wild Wild West.

Come out on a Sunday when the Hombres have a shoot and watch the display and extravagance put on by the shooters, who consist of both men and women. (Cowboys and Cowgirls).

Cowboy Action Shoots are held the 4th Sunday of each month. Sign-ups 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on the following dates:

SPORTING CLAY SHOOTS

We have automatic traps and target settings to present some of the best targets in the central Pennsylvania area. For the most part they are set with the intermediate shooter in mind. However there is enough variety to keep even the most accomplished shooter on his/her toes.

The committee at the club sets a 50-target practice course for those of you who just want to shoot for the fun of being outdoors and enjoying some good targets.

Last sign up is at 2:00

Every Sunday begining March 7th through the end of October!

Sign-up begins at 8:30am

Final sign-up is 1:00pm

Every Wednesday begining March 3rd through the end of October!

Sign-up begins at 4:00pm

Final sign-up is 8:00pm

Kitchen is open during shoots.

Trap Shooting begins on March 4th and will continue every Thursday through the end of October.

Sign-up begins at 4:00 pm

Final sign-up is 8:00 pm

3-D ARCHERY SHOOTS

The 3-D Archery Range will open at 6:00 a.m. with the last sign up at 11:00 a.m.. The cost for adults, $9.00; Club Members, $6.00; Youth ages 10 through 14, $5.00, under 10, free. There will be 25 Targets located in a wooded course. Kitchen is open from 8 until 2 pm.
